Prayer is our great open door into the presence of God! At times you might feel like “you have no one to talk to,” but the Lord is always near and ready to hear! 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. Life unloads weighty burdens upon us all! Sometimes it is death or sickness, sometimes it is a relationship gone bad, sometimes it is a financial crisis, life can be awfully cruel. Jesus knew the cruelty of life; He taught His disciples to pray! The fact is that we are all in need of prayer! The best way to learn how to pray is to pray. Then again hearing others pray is also a great teacher in the school of prayer! 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

This summer we have been having Prayer Fellowships on Sunday evenings. Our Sunday School classes have been praying and fellowshipping together on Sunday evenings. The feedback has been tremendous! I have been encouraged to hear some planning to continue these special prayer times on into the year. I can’t think of a better way to build friendships and to fellowship than in prayer together. I would encourage you to find a Prayer Fellowship and join it. Your spiritual life will be different and your praying more fruitful… I have no doubt!

Sunday morning our message is entitled, “SLEEPLESS IN GREENVILLE.” Sleepless nights are a reality for us all. Even King David had his restless nights. What did he do? Psalm 6 gives us the details of what happened in David’s life. Sunday morning will take an inside look at how David handled his sleepless nights. Join us and make sure you bring someone with you. Thank you for praying… the Lord is blessing His work here at Grace Church.

Enjoy your weekend… continue praying for our Walterboro Mission Team. The Lord is using His work here in Greenville to bless others around the world. From prisons here in eastern North Carolina, to roof work in South Carolina, to remote places in the Americas and Europe, God is at work using Grace Church! Thank you Lord for using us to share the Gospel with a dying world!

Give Like Jesus,
